S.A.S.H moves its weekly party to Saturday after 15 years of Sundays

For 15 years, S.A.S.H has held a residency on Sundays in Gadigal Land/Sydney, arguably one of the most iconic and longest-lasting house music offerings in the city's history.

This Summer, however, for the first time, S.A.S.H. moves their weekly party to Saturday nights.

The party is still set to call Oxford St venue Carousel its home for the night, a space it's become more than familiar with in only two years of Carousel's own operation. The daytime events, however, are set to undergo a big change, with monthly large-scale daytime events occurring at a variety of much-loved venues around the city, including long-awaited returns to Greenwood Hotel and the Abercrombie.

In a post shared to its social profiles, S.A.S.H went into great detail on their grand plans for the move.

They include:

  • Big brand partnerships, seeing S.A.S.H "joining forces with world-renowned brands for exclusive collaborations at Carousel & beyond." These include Half Baked, Slapfunk Records and many more.
  • Weekly 6AM finishes and sunrise sets, providing "a taste of S.A.S.H Breakfast every week at Carousel."
  • Incorporating a no phones policy on the dance floor.
  • Bespoke new lighting and production.

This week, all of the events for S.A.S.H's remaining 2025 season were announced, with a slew of internationally renowned names and local selectors set to take the stage. They include the likes of Sam Bangura, Job De Jong, Mihai Popoviciu, Cessy, Gaskin, Tristan Da Cunha, Doudou MD, Dan Ghenacia, Laidlaw and many more.

Tickets to these events have already sold out during the presale period, with the remaining tickets available from Mixmag ANZ.

Word from sources close to S.A.S.H have also confirmed that next week the brand is set to announce a new weekly event on Sundays on Bundjalung Land/Byron Bay, demonstrating that a new Sunday-focused legacy may be right around the corner.
