RADAR Festival launches in Boorloo with a UK-heavy lineup
The festival, taking place in the ever popular Boorloo/Perth 'gooch week', features the likes of OVERMONO, DJ Boring & many more.
For dance and electronic fans, Boorloo/Perth has long sat with only one majorly notable festival offering around the Christmas/NY period, Freedomtime.
Those days are over however, with the launch of RADAR Festival, and its inaugural event taking place on Saturday, December 28 of this year.
The event, set to take place in Langley Park, one of Boorloo's most beautiful spaces adjacent to the Swan River, is the collaborative effort of a series of heavyweight local promoters including Higher Grnd, Higher Self and Wldflwr.
The festival's goal is to embrace its ethos of "More Music ~ More Dance ~ Less Boundaries" with a lineup that spans not only the world's leading dance music talent, but a series of hip hop and rnb superstars too.
Perhaps most notably is RADAR's boasting of an Australian exclusive performance by UK duo OVERMONO, who last graced the country's shores right at the start of 2024.
