Beyond The Valley kicks off its second decade with 2026 lineup announcement

Beyond The Valley asserts its appeal not only for global commercial dance acts but also as one of Australia’s modern multi-genre success stories, with its 2026 lineup announced yesterday.

Featuring the likes of American EDM star John Summit and the Black Eyed Peas, the festival's 11th edition announcement has shaped up to be one of the most widely appealing in its history.

After selling out in under an hour last year, the festival, once again co-presented by Naarm/Melbourne-based Untitled Group and the country’s national broadcaster triple j, has confirmed its return to the Barunah Plains, located on the traditional lands of the Wadawurrung Peoples of the Kulin Nation and the Eastern Maar Peoples of south-west Victoria, at the close of this year.

Speaking to the festival’s growing widespread appeal, as a destination for a wide variety of predominantly young music fans, BTV has this year tapped a series of large-scale global acts across the genre spectrum.

They include John Summit and the Black Eyed Peas, as mentioned before, alongside dance music mainstays KI/KI, Overmono, Armand Van Helden, Hannah Laing, SPFDJ, rappers Skepta and Vince Staples, among many others.

Locally, BTV has approached its bookings with a similar air of genre-agnosticism, tapping Yikes, CRŸBABY, Club Angel, WVCHWY, JUPiTA b2b bbsanii, Afrodisiac, Lex, DJ PGZ, Dean Turnley, WOLTERS, Aotearoa/New Zealand duo TWOFACED and many more.

In doing so, Beyond The Valley continues to buck the trend of struggling mixed-genre festivals, doubling down on the scale of its curatorial ambition as it enters its second decade.

Of the announcement, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Untitled Group Nicholas Greco shared:

"Festivals matter more than ever. They give people a place to belong, and a place to fall in love with music – and it's a privilege to play a part in that through BTV. We're so excited to be delivering such an incredible lineup to our BTV community, and to bring in the new year with you all again."

Beyond The Valley takes place at Barunah Plains, Wadawurrung and Eastern Maar Country, VIC, from December 28, 2026 to January 1, 2027.
