Vivid Sydney & RISING share their 2025 programs

Each year, the lineups for Vivid Sydney and RISING have become key moments in Australia's musical calendar. This year, taking place from May 23 to June 14, and June 4 to June 15 respectively, the events mark an influential moment in Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand's musical calendar set to inspire shows and tours around the same period.

For both festivals, dance and electronic music have become an increasing presence. Outside of city-wide programming, Vivid has become synonymous with its series of Opera House Studio Parties, inviting local crews to take over the basement of the country's most iconic venue. RISING, reflective of Naarm's availability of club spaces and growing dance population, has always held dance and electronic music as a core tenet of its lineup.
