The Wiggles say they don’t condone drugs after appearing in ‘Ecstasy’ music video
Two members of the children’s music group appeared in a now-deleted visual for a Keli Holiday single.
In headline news you didn’t expect to hear today, children’s music group The Wiggles say they do not condone the use of the party drug ecstasy.
The Australian group issued a statement after two of its members, Anthony Field who plays Blue Wiggle and Dominic Field who plays the Tree of Wisdom, appeared in a music video for Keli Holiday’s recent track ‘Ecstasy’.
The video appeared on TikTok, where it was viewed close to 100,000 times before being removed, according to The West Australian. The video was reportedly taken down from both TikTok and Facebook after the Australian outlet questioned Keli Holiday.

In a statement shared before its removal, The Wiggles said: “We understand that a video circulating on social media has caused concern for many parents and professionals, and we want to address that directly.”
"The Wiggles do not support or condone the use of drugs in any form,” they assured. “The content being shared was not created or approved by us, and we have asked for it to be removed.”
The group also added that, while Keli Holiday is "a friend of The Wiggles”, they claim that the video and music shared were created “without the knowledge” of The Wiggles.

The track from Holiday – real name Adam Hyde, who also makes up half of the electronic duo Peking Duk – featured the lyrics: “Hey girl, come on dance with me / you and your pocket full of ecstasy”.
According to the BBC, Holiday originally shared the video alongside the caption: “The Wiggles get it”. Another clip showing the Tree of Wisdom character dancing on stage with Holiday was shared on Instagram over the weekend.
