The Nowhere Festival is Eora's newest multi-day festival right in the heart of Sydney's city

Eora/Sydney's festival offerings just became all the more exciting with the announcement of The Nowhere Festival.

Set to take place on Eora's Cockatoo Island across two days in February of next year, the festival sees a massive cast of local and international acts already announced for its inaugural event. Spanning some of the world's most exciting names in house, techno and a diverse range of more experimental electronic music, The Nowhere Festival has made a massive first impression with a lineup normally reserved for events and festivals with a few different editions, and the experience that comes with it, under its belt.

A few key takeaways from The Nowhere Festival's lineup announcement include an extended back to back by Detroit luminaries Carl Craig and Moodymann. Ibiza renowned Italian DJ and producer Adiel, alongside Berlin icon Marcel Dettmann also feature, with Particles (Jane Fitz and Marco Shuttle), Quest, Mr. Ho, Mr. G, Paul Woolford and many more making up a huge international contingent.

A mammoth number of local artists, both from Eora & visiting Cockatoo Island from further afield, represent a massive cross section of Australia's blossoming underground dance music culture also. Reptant, Adi Toohey, miss behave, Kate Doherty, Barney Kato, Magda Bytnerowicz are just a small few of the 35 locals announced to be making up the tapestry of The Nowhere Festival's first ever event.

With events like the annual Gorgeous Presents NYE party at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Australia, Be Avant Garde, and many more under the promoter Jody Coker's (Essential Events Management) belt, The Nowhere Festival at first glance appears to be an exciting and considered addition to Eora's infrequent festival circuit.

Particularly when you consider that The Nowhere Festival is a two day event, almost unheard of in Eora. A limited number of camping packages for weekend campers are set to be available, with campers' staying in Cockatoo Island's award-winning urban campground.

One day tickets start at $119, with tickets on sale Tuesday November 5 at 9AM. Pre-registration is open now via TheNowhereFestival.com.
