Strawberry Fields adds 8th stage & drops its 2026 lineup
The festival, taking place on November of this year, sold 95% of its tickets before a single artist was announced.
Strawberry Fields’ heritage and comparatively earnest offering continue to resonate with music fans of all kinds, having sold 95% of its tickets for this year before a single act was officially announced.
This morning, that silence was broken as the festival unveiled its anticipated 2026 lineup, continuing its knack for pairing local voices with globally recognised icons across a wide variety of genres and moods.
This year, Strawberry returns to the banks of the Murray River (Dhungala) on Yorta Yorta Country from Friday, November 20 to Sunday, November 22, featuring more than 80 acts, and now across 8 different stages.
At a time when festivals appear to either double down on the weight of trends or downsize to avoid financial risk, Strawberry skirts both of those lines in aiming to provide yet another year of standout curation and larger offerings across its iconic festival site.
In 2025, that saw the total revamp of Strawberry’s Beach stage, and in 2026, that sees the addition of a brand-new one, The Bazaar. Created in collaboration with local crews In The Moment Radio and Tribe Soundsystem, The Bazaar is set to offer an immersive 360-degree quadraphonic sound experience, among more yet to be revealed.
So too will Strawberry’s alternative spaces transform the Wildlands into a playground of art, ideas and discovery, across a variety of yet-to-be-revealed installations, workshops, deep listening sessions and performances.
For the second year in a row, Mixmag ANZ returns to Strawberry, now with a day-long takeover of the post-apocalyptic Deep Jungle stage, featuring a selection of standout local talent and international friends.
That combination, as well as Strawberry’s curatorial confidence in crossing the lines between electronic and live performance, once again brings together a slew of legendary worldwide names with homegrown tastemakers across its entire lineup.
Locally, that includes the likes of Soju Gang, an Ecstatic Mob takeover, Miss Kaninna, Mixmag ANZ Cover Artist Kia b2b Moopie, Jennifer Loveless, Mikalah Watego, Lauren Hansom, Drifting Clouds, Moktar b2b DJ Plead, Séarlait, Fantastic Man b2b Tornado Wallace, Cherry Chola, Emelyne b2b Lori, Baby G b2b Daws, Adriana, Yasmina Sadiki, 1tbsp, a 10-year celebration of Naarm/Melbourne promoter Finding Figaro, and much more.
Globally, Strawberry has tapped some of the world’s most trusted names, experts in their fields, cities and pockets of culture. After a last-minute cancellation in 2025, that sees the return of Gilles Peterson as well as CCL, Galcher Lustwerk, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Gerd Janson b2b Marcel Dettmann, Ahahadream, Kiernan Laveaux, Silva Bumpa, Sunju Hargun, Peter Van Hoesen, Pariah, Greentea Peng, YĪN YĪN, ECHT! and many others.
With only 5% of tickets remaining as of this morning, it’s clear that Strawberry is a festival trusted far beyond its ability to programme a good time.
The limited public sale of Strawberry Fields’ final round tickets begins at 9AM, Wednesday, July 8, via its website.
