Pitch Music & Arts reveals 2027 lineup for its tenth edition
Chris Stassy, Chlär and Peach lead the international bill for the anniversary edition at Moyston. HAAi, X CLUB. and a large Australian roster join them.
Pitch Music & Arts has announced the lineup for its tenth edition. The festival returns to the foothills of Gariwerd/the Grampians, from Friday, March 5 to Tuesday, March 9 of next year.
With its next edition, the festival marks ten years of music, art and solidified global renown. Originally started by Novel and Untitled in 2017, the festival, now entirely an Untitled project, has run each March long weekend in the years since.
Since its launch, the festival has grown steadily, building a reputation not only for its international bookings but also for its architecture, with vast stage and lighting designs that are, in many ways, unmatched across the country.
Its recent editions have seen big changes to its long-held formula, including the reimagining of its Pitch Black stage and the introduction of the Pitch Rock Pool last year. Alongside the onboarding of Tom Supple of Dark Mofo, RISING and Vivid Sydney as its new art curator last year, Pitch’s 10th is, perhaps unsurprisingly, set to be its biggest yet.
Its lineup is as internationally weighted as ever, with the likes of Dutch DJ and producer Chris Stassy, Swiss techno favourite Chlär, French producer SWEELY, Japan’s DJ MARIA., Canadian artist Peach, Darwin, DITA, DJ Fuckoff, CLOUDY, Patrick Mason, Fafi Abdel Nour, Hiroko Yamamura, dj sweet6teen and many more all joining the milestone.
Locally, London-based HAAi returns to Pitch, fresh off the back of her latest record ‘DIGITiSE’; DJ BORING also features ahead of his debut album; X CLUB. are set to perform two sets, while Kia, Connor Wall, Aldonna and Reptant all debut at Pitch for the first time.
That local bill is rounded up by a swathe of talent, including Activator, CaucasianOpportunities, D. Tyrone b2b Jo Christy, DAWS b2b Mikalah Watego, Jazz, Kuzco, Moopie b2b Miki, not without friends, Roka (live), Soju Gang, Tangerine (live), Wax’o Paradiso and YESNA.
Additionally, the festival has announced a variety of takeovers, including of its main stages by the likes of Bitter Ivy, Chuleo Club, Hide The Junk and Ultraviolet, while The Rock Pool is set to welcome Mob Ties, of the Essence, Radio Cazimi, Solac Radio, The Breakfast Club and World Dance.
Pitch’s sunrise set also returns, with a yet-to-be-announced act.
Pitch’s ‘collective’ presale opens on Monday, October 26 at 6PM AEDT, its ‘official’ presale opens on Tuesday, October 27 at 6PM AEDT, and general on-sale available from Wendesday, October 28 at 12PM AEDT.
Registration is open via its website.
