Finely Tuned’s THE WORKS series returns to Carriageworks for a second season
Finely Tuned's warehouse series comes back for six dates this summer, with Ewan McVicar, Jayda G, ROSSI., Sam Alfred b2b Job Jobse and the already sold-out Australian debut of Pegassi rounding out the bill.
When ‘THE WORKS’ launched last summer, it did so with the kind of internationally weighted lineup that comes with the experience that its parent company, Finely Tuned, can offer.
But what the group has continued to achieve across Lost Paradise and Lost Sundays was clearly refined in the series announcement, at a time when its home on Gadigal Land/Sydney has seemingly never cried out for large-scale shows quite this loudly.
Now, 'THE WORKS' is doing exactly that again, with the event confirming its return to Carriageworks across multiple dates this coming December and January.
Much like last year, the event brings a large-scale warehouse experience to a city where such spaces have been used more sparingly for dance music events of such size. In doing so, it builds on the reputation that ‘THE WORKS’ grew last year by featuring artists like Underworld, Ben Böhmer, Chris Stussy, CamelPhat, I Hate Models, Michael Bibi, Pretty Girl, and more.
This year, the lineup includes the Australian debut of Belgian producer Pegassi on December 5, as well as Armand Van Helden bringing in 2027 on December 31, alongside Scotland’s Ewan McVicar and Grammy-nominated house selector Jayda G.
In 2027, the likes of London’s ROSSI., Naarm/Melbourne’s Dean Turnley, Australian dance mainstay Sam Alfred back-to-back with Amsterdam heavyweight Job Jobse, Welsh brothers Overmono, and finally Dutch techno queen KI/KI at the season’s closer on January 9.
Presale for all 'THE WORKS' events opens at 10 AM AEST on Tuesday, September 15, ahead of general onsale at 10 AM AEST on Wednesday, September 16.
