Dom Dolla announces first ever stadium show in Australia
One of Australia's largest dance music exports announces a show at Sydney's Allianz Stadium, set for December 2025.

Australian dance music has reached stadium-level popularity.
Dom Dolla, one of Australia's largest dance music exports, has this morning announced his debut stadium show at Gadigal Land/Sydney's Allianz Stadium.
Presented collaboratively by Untitled Group and TEG Live, the announcement comes after the artist has sold over 170,000 tickets on his most recent Australian tour. Off the back of being nominated for a Grammy Award for his remix of the Gorillaz' 'New Gold' featuring Tame Impala, and Bootie Brown, as well three ARIA Awards now under his belt, Dolla's rise to global and commercial prominence has been impossible to ignore.
The news of this most recent show, set to take place on December 20 at the arena which in recent months has hosted the likes of Travis Scott, P!nk, Robbie Williams, Paul McCartney and Elton John, demonstrates a new era for dance music's popularity within Australia.

In October of last year, Mixmag ANZ reported on stats that reveal Australians listen to dance music more than any other country. The most recent International Music Summit (IMS) Business Report revealed that Australian fans, on average, stream more of the genre than anyone else on the planet, with SoundCloud showing in its own research that electronic music makes up a third of all its Australian streams, compared with a 22% average across the rest of the globe.
Dolla's popularity makes a clear case for the future of dance and electronicmusic more broadly within Australia. Earlier this month, the NSW Government announced it would be incentivising international acts to add local support to tours taking place at a series of the state's larger-scale venues, of which Allianz Stadium is included.
While local dance and electronic music is usually home in far smaller venues, this announcement may well be the start of a trend of more stadium shows for locally made DJs, producers and live acts in the years to come.
Registration for the show's pre-sale is now available here. Pre-sales are set to open on Thursday, 22 May, at 11 am AEST, with a 'Spotify Spotlight' pre-sale beginning on Thursday, 22 May, at 1PM AEST. General sale will commence on Friday, 23 May, at 12PM AEST.
