Digi Culture & Music shares big-name heavy 2025 lineup
The Ngambri/Canberra festival is back for another year with its biggest lineup to date.
For many, the assumption is that Ngambri/Canberra is a university, bureaucrat heavy town and little else.
They'd be wrong.
The city, perhaps in direct reaction to the heavy population of government that makes it up, or built by the passionate aura of a regular cast of students, is having a real moment.
Part of and leading that moment for a number of years is Digi Culture & Music, which has today announced its 2025 lineup. The single day festival, this year taking place on March 1 and presented by local group Decibel Creative, has for four years been providing Ngambri locals with world class artists often only found in more 'major' cities.
Next year's bill sets the event apart from the rest of the city's offerings, as a true representation of more underground flavours, a far cry from more commercial events which have come and gone in the region.
Of this year's announcement, Digi's Director Frank Tapia shared, “this is our 4th consecutive year and we’re really excited about how broad the line up is! This year we plan to invest more into experience and sound design, we are partnering with Purple Audio to provide an entire FunktionOne set up for each stage.”
