For dance-inclined punters living on Gadigal Land/Sydney, a significant point of frustration has been a relative lack of venues for many years. The city's lockout laws have, even to this day, produced a ripple effect that has delayed the availability of venues of nearly every size, particularly when housing the often negatively publicised culture that is dance music.

It's with that context, then, that the utilising of larger venues with greater frequency is so celebrated. 'THE WORKS', a brand-new multi-day summer warehouse series held at Carriageworks, is one such cause for celebration.

'THE WORKS', run by Finely Tuned, the team behind Lost Paradise, Lost Sundays, and CLUB ABOVE, is gracing the iconic inner-city warehouses of Carriageworks for six events across the end of December and early January next year.

Noting their inspiration from two of London's biggest warehouses, Printworks and Drumsheds, the Finely Tuned team are set to pair ambitious production, world-leading artists and state-of-the-art creative direction across the series.

Regarding curation, 'THE WORKS' has already announced a series of international guests and locals set to feature across its six events. They include Roza Terenzi, Chris Stussy, I HATE MODELS, sim0ne, VTSS, Underworld, Camelphat, Ben Böhmer, Samantha Loveridge, Young Franco, Reenie, and many more, combining for a total of more than 20.

"We're very excited to bring this new curated event series to one of Eora's most exciting creative venues," Finely Tuned's Simon Beckingham shared. "'THE WORKS' takes inspiration from the globe's best electronic music spaces, combining a world-class lineup with an exceptional level of production to create a series of warehouse events unlike anything previously seen in Sydney. Something big is in 'THE WORKS'."

Tickets to 'THE WORKS' are available now via their website. See the full lineup below:
