A3 shares its 2026 lineup
The Novel run Naarm/Melbourne-based festival welcomes the likes of Kerri Chandler, Skin On Skin & many more this November.
A3 returns to its home in Lardner Park, situated on the traditional lands of the Gunai/Kurnai people, with a lineup even more internationally weighted than ever before in 2026.
The Novel run festival, now in its third year, continues its streak of consecutive sold-out editions with a lineup that touches on its city's foundational underground culture and brings some of the world's most well-known selectors into the fold.
“A3 has always been about building a complete environment around the music — not simply presenting artists on stages,” the festival team shared.
“Every year, the intention is to deepen the connection between sound, setting and people, while continuing to evolve the scale and ambition of the experience without losing the intimacy that made it resonate initially. This year’s programme feels especially aligned in that sense.”
In practice, this sees the festival hoping to blur the lines between the natural and industrial across its four stages. This year, that responsibility is shared with the likes of Studio Jon Fish and REELIZE.STUDIO, weaving large-scale visual pieces between spatial works by Lucas Gauci, Merinduh-Gunxya and Rose Staff.
Novel's extensive experience, both at home and in working with artists abroad, sees this blur occur in its curation as well.
Locally, A3 has invited countless established and emerging local artists to its lineup, including Ed Kent b2b Hannah D, Hasvat Informant, DJ Luv You, IN2POL, IsGwan, Lucas Boston, Luke Alessi, Mikalah Watego, Osmosis Jones, RONA., Kailyn Crabbe, Shani, AKEYLAH, STÜM, Skin On Skin and many more.
Its international offering has, in its three years to date, been one focused primarily on some of the world's most well-loved artists. This year, that commitment to pairing huge global names alongside local tastemakers has them inviting the likes of Kerri Chandler, Morgan Seatree, Omar+, VTSS, sim0ne, Rene Wise, LF System, Andre Zimmer, ANNĒ, Olivia Mendez, just to name a few.
A3 is set to take place in Lardner Park from Friday, November 27 to Monday, November 30. Ballot registrations are now open, with tickets on sale next Wednesday, May 20 at 12PM.
