Mixmag Australia/New Zealand operates an online ticketing platform on behalf of event promoters ("Event Partners"). This policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect your personal information.

- Payment information (processed securely via our payment partners; Mixmag Australia/New Zealand does not store full card details)

Why We Collect Your Personal Information
We collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:
- Processing and fulfilling your ticket purchases, including delivery of e-tickets and SMS tickets

- Managing event entry, including scanning and attendance verification
- Communicating with you about your purchases, including order confirmations, event updates, cancellations, and rescheduling
- Processing refunds and managing chargeback disputes
- Providing customer support
- Sending marketing communications from Mixmag Australia/New Zealand and Event Partners (subject to your consent and opt-out rights)

We may also use your personal information for secondary purposes closely related to the above, where you would reasonably expect such use.
Sharing Your Personal Information
Event Partners
When you purchase a ticket, your name, email address, and other relevant booking details are shared with the Event Partner for the purposes of event management, entry verification, and communication about the event. Event Partners who receive your information through the Mixmag platform are bound by a Data Sharing Deed that governs how they may use your data.
Payment Processors
We use third-party payment processors (including Stripe and Airwallex) to process transactions. Your payment information is handled directly by these processors in accordance with their own privacy policies and PCI-DSS standards.
Service Providers
We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our platform, including hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, and analytics providers. These providers are contractually required to handle your information securely and only for the purposes we specify.
As Required by Law
We may disclose your information where required or authorised by law, regulation, court order, or government request.
We will not sell your personal information to third parties.
Marketing Communications
When you purchase a ticket through Mixmag Australia/New Zealand, you may be subscribed to communications from both Mixmag Australia/New Zealand and the relevant Event Partner. These communications may include information about upcoming events, promotions, and other content we believe may be of interest to you.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by:

Opting out of marketing communications will not affect transactional communications relating to your ticket purchases (such as order confirmations, event updates, and refund notifications).

We use cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience on our platform, analyse usage patterns, and support digital marketing activities.
Where Event Partners use the Mixmag platform, we may apply anonymised tracking code to event websites for the purpose of digital marketing and analytics. Event Partner websites using this tracking code are required to update their privacy terms accordingly.
You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our platform.
Overseas Disclosure
