In pictures: The Mixmag Lab Bali with Theo Parrish at the helm
Snapshots from the night at La Brisa, where the house music pioneer played a transcendent three-hour set to an elated crowd.
On September 13, 2025, The Mixmag Lab welcomed one of the most influential house DJs to ever step behind its decks: Theo Parrish.
Against the idyllic backdrop of La Brisa’s sweeping bamboo beach club, the Sound Signature head honcho delivered an extended three-hour, all-vinyl masterclass in DJing that will linger long in the minds of those who attended—one that will be remembered as one of the island’s defining musical moments.
Before Theo’s highly-anticipated set, the crowd enjoyed impeccable curation by Australia’s “if you know, you know” selector, Rok Riley, along with one of Indonesia’s most respected underground artists and label owners, Munir, who both threw a slew of styles from ambient, disco, electro, funk, reggae, Detroit house (naturally), and everything in between.

Capturing that electricity of The Mixmag Lab through stills is never easy, but this gallery offers a glimpse into the magic: from Theo’s eccentric energy to intimate candid shots, and euphoric moments of togetherness on the dancefloor.
Consider this a taste of what went down at The Mixmag Lab Bali.
