There’s a gargoyle in the room upstairs

We gathered downstairs at The Abercrombie as we always do, in the half-light of the club where the bass behaves and the drinks do what they’re told. But… There was a noise. Not the good kind. Or maybe too good? Someone said they saw shadows bending the wrong way on the staircase. Another heard a laugh?? Not like a human laugh, more like… something else. The upstairs room, it’s... changed. The air's thicker. The lights blink — maybe in some kind of code, I don't know. And there’s music leaking through, but it doesn’t sound like it’s coming from speakers. It sounds ancient. It sounds like the DJs are channeling something they didn’t mean to. We think they’ve done it. We think they know. We think they’ve let it in.
