TARDEANDO FILM NIGHT La misteriosa mirada del flamenco This Thursday, Tardeando opens the room for a special film screening of La misteriosa mirada del flamenco, the debut feature by Chilean filmmaker Diego Céspedes. Set in a desert mining town in northern Chile in the early 80s, the film follows Lidia, an eleven-year-old girl growing up with her beloved queer family as fear, myth and prejudice begin to spread around them. A tender and powerful story about chosen family, love, violence, desire and survival, told through a world where the gaze itself becomes something dangerous.
