Tamba
To tamba is 'to play' or 'to dance' in Shona - one of the primary languages in Zimbabwe. A queer party dedicated to shaking ass to sounds from the global African diaspora. From amapiano and kwaito, to uk funky and bouyon.
TambaXL - our final Tamba for 2026. One final time for the girls and the gays to show up and show out on the dancefloor. Are you ready to sweat? We are. Deodorant mandatory.
🌏
Free entry for First Nations peoples
Please contact us before the event via direct message on Instagram @tamba.au so we can send you a ticket <3
TambaXL: 2026 occurs on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri & Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation - the traditional custodians of the land. This land has not been ceded back. This was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
