We create inclusive spaces for people to dance, connect and have fun. Having run a number of parties across Naarm, our goal is to facilitate social connections that go beyond the dancefloor and into the formation of communities that support, uplift and look out for each other all while ensuring everyone feels comfortable getting a bit silly on the dance floor. As DJ’s, the Succulent Funk team bring an exciting blend of House, Disco & more to the dance floor, often with a global twist. Our aim is to shift dance floor culture by creating dynamic installations that blend the past and present, fostering social connections and putting the spotlight on the partygoers, cultivating supportive and safe communities.
Succulent Funk are back to Angel Music Bar this November for another full venue takeover full of smoke, sweat and soul.
Upstairs, things are set to simmer along just right with Tribqu founder Zjoso joining your Succulent Funk residents, Miles Ahead and Emil LP, weaving together soulful sounds and plenty of late night lift.
Downstairs, things take a smoother turn. A place to settle in, sip and let the night unfold at it's own pace. Lou Rose, Sammy Sanchez and DJ Friday will keep things cruisey and sultry all night long.
