Skydance Festival, 4 days of camping, music, art, workshops, wellness and disconnection from the noise of everyday life to reconnect with what truly matters. Set in Kamilaroi country, we’re bringing people together to experience something real — an escape from the ordinary and a chance to reconnect with ourselves, music and each other. We invite those who want to break away from the norm, to experience a festival that’s not just a series of moments — but a journey. A place to feel the wind in your hair, dance freely and create something that feels anew. Skydance is a celebration – the art of living without limits.

Set in Kamilaroi country, Skydance is four days of dancefloors without limits, panoramic skies, and a community built on connection and shared experience. It’s not about escaping reality, it’s about creating a new one together. Expect a collision of sound and wilderness, light and landscape. A space where expression runs free, where the beats roll as hard as the hills around us, and where you can breathe deeper, move harder, and feel part of something bigger.
This year, Tabularasa Collective has joined forces with the original Skydance team to shape the next chapters.
Tabularasa are known for weaving together music, visual storytelling, and immersive art. Their events blur the line between party and performance, offering a taste of the underground that’s raw, artful, and entirely their own. Founded by the original Subsonic team, they’ve carried this vision across continents - from the iconic Tribe stage at Summer Contrast in Poland, to boutique gatherings and retreats in Fiji, and the beloved Waves: a surfside sanctuary of sound held on the shores of Crescent Head.
Across the long weekend you’ll find:
– Top-tier sound systems powering live music and DJs
– Transformative performance and large-scale visual art
– Lighting, lasers, and full-stage design from Tabularasa Collective
– Talks, workshops, and spaces for reflection
– Massage, sauna, and ice baths for grounding
– Markets, delicious food stalls, and communal hangouts
– Hot showers, wide open skies, and no noise restrictions
