S.A.S.H
S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.
★ S.A.S.H Sydney x Bondi Lines & Magnolia Social ★ Saturday 13th June ★
It's a triple threat Saturday incoming with S.A.S.H Sydney x Bondi Lines & Magnolia Social on Saturday the 13th June. This post long-weekend decompression session is brought to you by Jack T in the big font - likely still kicking on from the weekend prior. Magnolia Social residents Harry Jensen & Ronan set the pace for the evening, taking us from the opening sounds right past the stroke of midnight before handing over the reigns to Jack. Wham Bam & Sham - the dirt is most certainly not gone with this tribe of trifling Toucan's take us through the sunrise session and say good morning to Sunday. It'll be raw, it'll be gritty, it'll be an itty bit witty with these three hooligans on the loose. See you on the dance floor xx
