S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

Of all the artists announced so far, there are few who come close to the amount of love & engagement that our guest this week has received. Since he was first teased a couple of months back, we have been bombarded with requests about when he’s making it to Sydney. Now you have him! The Bass Jamz co-founder and all-round bad boy Gaskin one of the scenes fasting rising stars. With an adoring fan bass across the globe, and a serious backlog of high quality productions and releases to his name, he’s sure to blow the roof off the joint. We’ll be invoicing him for the repair bill after the show… After Hours are our local legends joining us for this fabled occasion, trading out the “after hours” for the early evening, stepping in with their residents Khobi Deep & Charlie Barber to warm the floor and get us all in the mood before Gaskin steps up to the platters that matter. Cessy makes a return to the S.A.S.H booth to close out the night and walk us through the sunset session with a hop skip and a mighty jump.
