S.A.S.H
S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

September delivers the spring for our steps as we welcome a crowd favourite, and bass face playa to the booth. Youandewan returns to our shores for another ride on the yellow horse alongside our trusted Neeso, who has a history of all things big and beefy. Last time Youandewan was upon us, we were left hungry and eager for more after a masterclass performance from the Berlin based Scottsman. His undeniable talent with wax platters has pushed him into the spotlight, and never fails to deliver no matter where he is. A funky flavour with a spicy kick surrounds his productions, and with quite the collection up his sleeve, there’s no doubt we’re in for a real treat. Neeso joins in on the fun as he steps into the beefy booth for a solo endeavour without his bassline junkie. His work over the years has been nothing short of impressive, his deep digs allow for unforgettable moments on the dance floor, and his big smile gets the crowd going. A favourite within our scene, Neeso will most certainly bring bad boy bombs. To round out the evening of romper stompers, we welcome The Gould Brothers to kick us into overdrive and keep us dancing until the early morning. If they aren’t running parties, they’re digging deep and preparing for nights like this. Ben Pailas joins the party as he steps into the early evening slot before Neeso, ready to deliver delectable rollers to keep us warm. Nicholas Zarb sprints north as he steps into Carousel for the early hours of the afternoon for a well deserved debut on the yellow horse. As always, you bring your dancing shoes, and we’ll provide the rest xx
