S.A.S.H
S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

As we continue our collaboration streak, S.A.S.H brings in another heavy hitter from around the globe. All the way from London, we welcome Half Baked. Continuing the celebration theme, Half Baked celebrate their 15th birthday this year, and after this many years of dominating the scene, we are excited to have them back in the land of Aus. Much like us, Half Baked shares the love of sunday-afternoon events, and with an appearance from Raresh last year, our very special friends have planned another stint with us. We’ve doubled up this time and brought 2 guests down for a two part weekender special: Tripmastaz & Sam Bangura. With these two gracing the Carousel booth, we’re in for a very special night. The technical & talented Tripmastaz is one of those names that immediately pirk up your ears. With a back catalogue of tasteful treats and booming beats, he knows his music inside and out. In recent years, Tripmastaz launched his label: Respect The Craft, a platform that speaks for itself, as it’s dedicated to the art that is music. His sets are as beefy as his tunes, playing all over the world supplying dancers with sonic wonders. Tripmastaz most definitely knows what’s up. Half Baked resident Sam Bangura returns to Australian shores, sun soaked and ready to go. Sam’s quality over quantity approach makes him a stand out character within his scene, and being co-owner of NorthSouth records, his hands are full of work and bad boy beats. Delighted to have him, we cannot wait to see what he’s been up to. For our own representative we’ve enlisted the boss man: Kerry Wallace. He’ll be opening up Carousel with his copious catalogue of tunes, slinging low strung grooves to get you in the mood before our dear friends from Half Baked. As always; you bring your dancing shoes, and we’ll provide the rest xx
