S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years.
Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.”
The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend.
Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties.
Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

Round 3, and they’re off!
That’s right, Perth we’re scooting on over the Australian deserts and touching down in your sweet town. Once again taking the reins and steering the planes westward to dazzling open-air auditorium that is The Court with a very special guest and good friend in tow. If you enjoyed the last throwdown with Enzo Siragusa, then this one is going to be just as exciting!
Something special happening inside London’s rave culture in the mid-2000’s. A generation of like-minded artists and promoters with similar tastes formed a genuine scene, bonding with spirit and harmony and its instigators far and wide. Rich NxT played his own part of this movement, frequenting the many seminal East London venues and parties which remain an inspiration for that has followed.
As one of the FUSE residents, Rich played a major part in the brand’s evolution, taking it from a free afterparty to one of the most respected event brands and labels on the planet. Continuing as a core FUSE artist, Rich has delivered countless Eps on the label as well as his debut album on the label to rave reviews and varied DJ support. Elsewhere the DJ/producer draws on his strongly identifiable sound to run two vinyl imprints, NxT Records and What NxT. The tastemaker labels draw influence from techno and minimal house, while never forgetting the all-important raving roots.
Joining Rich in the courtyard local legends Lakus and George Rogers join forces, arms and hips to go toe and toe and elbow to elbow to take us through the early afternoon, with the wise old WHYZE stepping up to get things properly warmed up for our mate Rich.
As always, you bring your dancing shoes, and we’ll provide the rest.
See you in the West xx
