S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

Half Baked have come half way across the world for a 3 stop weekender down in Australia. Celebrating their 15th year running, they’ve sent over two dance floor divas to take us on a ride through the years. Melbourne musical haven Subclub hosts as we take a trip down the coast for a mid-night getdown. Tripmastaz & Sam Bangura need little introduction, these musical maestros kick off their time in Australia with an early morning of fun and downright dirty tunes. These guys are underground heavy hitters and most definitely have what you need. Both in love with the studio and label owners, Tripmastaz & Sam Bangura are well versed in the art of musical goodness. Joining our Half Baked friends is local talent Jinx. With an ear for; deep, dubby and dirty goodness, Jinx receives the keys to open up shop inside Subclub for the evening ahead. As always; you bring your dancing shoes, and we’ll provide the rest xx
