S.A.S.H
S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

Basically a full month into Winter and it’s gotten pretty chilly. As the temperature drops fast, we’ve enlisted some of the baddest beat bombers to come down & keep us warm as we dance the chills away. Watson’s EQ & Carousel have their own special weapons to keep spirits & temperatures high, but ultimately it comes down to the crew behind the decks to get the job done. Persian Rug is in the big font for our open air endeavour, their beefy tunes and history speaks for their ability, expect nothing but groove from these two larrikins. Another duo is in our midst as Jack T & Neeso welcome in the moonlight for Watson’s EQ. These boys are inseparable and most certainly share a love for dirty tunes. The fine afternoon welcomes yet another pairing to the stage: Symplicit & ZXP. A delicious duo for sure as these two have proved they’ve got the groove in recent times. Artefacts welcomes in the afternoon, stripped back sounds with delectable selection is all we can say. The Chalet that is Carousel keeps the heat in motion as Melbournian Charles Eddy rides his Chariot up to Sydney for a night of pure delight. The French born Melbourne local, has been out and about since the early 2000’s, and has found himself on lineups across the country. Yanez takes on the close with his big, bad, romper stompers after a quick stint in the land of Europe, and man like Can Ayhan sneaks through the fire escape to get Carousel up and running for the evening ahead. As always, you bring your dancing shoes, and we’ll provide the rest xx
