S.A.S.H
S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

There are secrets upon secrets this Spring, and we’ll secrete none of them. Another Sunday rubble, with a double dose of trouble, the second Sunday of the season brings two more mysterious guests. Cast in shadow, they will be revealed in due time, can you guess who they are? The soundtrack at day kicks off with WALDOS, trading out slinging drinks behind the Watson’s bar, for slinging tunes out in the courtyard not too far. Dealis and Jay McMullen link up once again to take us through the afternoon. A dose of deep with a stripped back edge, class beyond their years these two know how to groove. In for the sunset session and to warm up the first of our masked menaces, Aaron Robins and Le Brond go dosey doe. By night the warmup is in safe hands. Alice Burcovich will be taking a rare moment to leave the studio and trade it in for a couple of hours in Carousel. Basked under the deep red lights, there will be no shortage of good music tonight. Rounding out the occasion, after our second veiled vigilante, Ksea will be looking after the heavy hitters and dance floor splitters to take the night to it’s end. As always, you bring your dancing shoes, and we’ll provide the rest xx
