S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

As Autumn comes to a close, we’re keeping warm and getting jiggy with it out on the sunny Greenwood open-air terrace. S.A.S.H By Day welcomes digger, party starta, record collecta and all-time selecta Accent’ to the bold print. As a resident of B.A.G, Accent’ knows a thing or two about the underground sound. He’s a true artist and seriously slick DJ, blessed with a maturity behind the decks that is seemingly becoming ever rarer. Joining our main man Hugo, Goose will be ensuring we’re properly primed and ready for rhythms, with young Tòmmy taking us through the sunset session with his stripped-back electro-tipped grooves. Fortue & Tom Alderson make their S.A.S.H debut, going slo-mo with a healthy serving of low-slung, well-hung deep house that could soften even the hardest hero. Across to OAF and we’re going gangbusters from the get go. Mitchell Nicholas makes his Terrace debut getting things going for us under the red glow before Venda takes control and kicks the lasers into 6th gear. Daleh returns to close out the night once again with some heavy hitting haus. As always, you bring your dancing shoes; and we’ll provide the rest. See you on the dance floor xx
