S.A.S.H
S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

With great power, comes great responsibility, and with the first week of winter Max Power has been charged with keeping us warm in the open-air Greenwood courtyard. One of the most promising young talents Sydney has to offer, Max is a truly tried and tested DJ. From warming up for quality internationals, to rocking the dancefloor closing out S.A.S.H By Night, he’s nailed every slot we’ve put him in, now it’s time for him to command the day. With the RaW brothers stepping into the warmup, and a double dose of Wollongong – in Kennedy St. & Myndgame – rolling out the early afternoon there’s no doubt we’re in for a romper of a day in the north. Across to S.A.S.H By Night and under the red lights and lasers we give Ritmiq a proper send off before he embarks on his European adventures. His style, whilst incredibly versatile, finds a common theme in deep, grooving basslines that leave you with an irresistible urge to move. Whether he’s rocking straight house, or stripping it back with an electro edge, the energy is undeniable and the passion is clear to see. Swinging on in to close out the night, louis has his record bag packed and stacked full of ripped and stripped dancefloor damagers and filthy basslines. We’re dipping into an extra serving of south coast action with Padre rounding out the lineup to kick off the night and get us warmed right up. As always, you bring your dancing shoes; and we’ll provide the rest. See you on the dance floor xx
