S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

After a tango with fabric, we’re back underway with our regular weekly shin-digs! Liquid Earth joins us all the way from California, the American with a silky touch will take control of the courtyard at Watson’s, ready to steer us into the night. A dark & mysterious secret guest is lurking in the shadows of Carousel, who could they be & what do they have planned? Hydration station Liquid Earth has everything you need to move and groove with ease. His work within the studio is of extremely high calibre, which has shifted him into the forefront of the underground scene in recent years. A taste for all things deep, techy & dark, just know that you’re deeply rooted in good hands with Liquid Earth. With a return to Sydney, groove constructor Pistaccio is up behind the booth in support of the main main, he’s cracked the code of production, ready for us all to get into the good stuff. Nicholas Zarb returns to the stables as he takes on a session in the sun, with Austin Allen ready to arrive at Watson’s EQ for his day-but. Night has fallen & we’re left with a dark & dangerous secret guest to take over Carousel… Surprise, it's Liquid Earth! a deep bag and variety of sounds will fill the club, as the American magician takes over to deliver a night of pure delight. Hamoii jumps back into the booth, ready to rumble with the mixer to conclude the night. He’s got some hammers, so we’re excited for a romping closure. Matteo Rosucci makes his way up from Melbourne before returning abroad, he’s ready to deliver a delicious starter for the evening before our mystery mixer takes control… As always, you bring your dancing shoes, and we’ll provide the rest xx
