S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

A fine Sunday of groove is placed into the palm of our hands, a dubious double takes control of the Watson's EQ courtyard, whilst a Romanian groove conductor digs deep into the night within the walls of Carousel… Watson’s EQ sees Elodie and Miss Farina step into the booth to deliver the moonlight to us all on a fine platter. They’ll make our hips move left & right without us even noticing! Head of the eloelo records, Elodie has made her mark on the European scene after a flurry of dynamic releases, across multiple well known labels. With recent appearances on fabric’s label alongside her own, Elodie is sure to kick us into overdrive. Dear friend to both parties, Miss Farina also joins us in the courtyard of Watson’s EQ. A fierce selector that bounces between London & Melbourne, Miss Farina is no stranger to us, and we cannot wait to welcome her back to the courtyard once again. The two will be joined by a pair that have a history of selecting together. Teba & Tano B reunite, this time in the sunshine ridden courtyard, an honorable pairing we cannot wait to hear again. The day kicks off with Ethan Watmore, a fine selector ready for his S.A.S.H day-but after a recent Fix My Sink appearance late last year… When light turns to dark, there’s one place to go. Carousel prepares to experience the master of all things deep & Romanian, as Herck’s venture in the land down under continues with us. Being highly regarded in the minimal world, Herck has a background of displaying his stripped sounds with pounding grooves across all of Europe. Rif Raf returns to the shores of Oz for a tenacious close, with Spontaneous & Kalender ready to lock the groove down whilst they warm things up for the main man.
