S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

Having up-root-ed her life here in Australia to chase the greener musical pastures of Europe… we couldn’t be prouder to say that someone should call the fire brigade, because she’s been on fire! From Cinthie to Barac, Shonky to Djebali, Amsterdam to Spain and Romania to the UK, she’s been from booth to booth across the EU over the last year and we’re grateful to have her headline the first Sunday of summer! Prince of mischief, the devil in disguise, Lord Lucca has made his way up from the southern state. No stranger to our yellow and black stable… or an all hours of the Monday morning dance, Lucca has had his influence in Melbourne felt in more ways than one, and for all the right reasons. Yung guns and June long weekend standouts, A to Ź take on the warming up duties of the booth this Sunday, slinging and singing low slung jams to get your knees flexin and your arms T-rexing.
