S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

There are few within the industry with such an astute taste in music as Quest. The Italian has seen a tremendously significant rise in profile these last few years; and for very good reason too. Influenced by underground Italian Hip-Hop Marco boasts a vast collection of unearthed genre-bending gems, ranging across the electronic spectrum from outré techno to UKG whippers. Most prominently, he waltzes down the line between house and electro with a certain flair and confidence that few can hope to achieve, commanding dancefloors with effortless confidence. He's joined in the Watson’s EQ courtyard by another special international guest, because it’s Silly Season and we’re feeling festive. Jono Xidias has been tasked and asked to get deep and dirty in the afternoon. This young lad know a thing or two about concocting a potion to generate some motion on the dancefloor. Rounding out the day, Jazz returns for round 2 of the musical doo in the all-out, electro boogaloo. Down the road to our favourite late-night, low-light haunt, we kick things off with a delightfully delectable back-to-back pairing. Accent’ has been one of Sydney’s finest selectas for a few years now, one of our trusted go-to’s for the big jobs and important moments. This week he’s locking in for a session beside a very promising up and coming talent in young Tòmmy. They’ll be warming up for the Secret Guest at S.A.S.H By Night with Northern Beaches bomb-slingers Bichue taking care of the final hours inside Carousel for the night.
