S.A.S.H
S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

Known for throwing some of the best afterparties – and now parties at regular waking hours too – that Sydney has seen, our Brazilian friends are well versed in the art of slinging slick tunes and keeping the people grooving for hours on end. As we farewell the final weekend of July, we do so in extraordinary fashion… with our good friends from Caramba Club taking the reins for the entire day at SASH By Day, In The Snow House! Darting up the road and down the stairs to our deep dark delight, Le Brond takes the stage for a romper of a night. A seasoned veteran of Sydney’s underground scene, there are few with as much composure and class behind the decks. Whether it’s big tunes delivered to extravagant rooms, or something a little more low-slung Le Brond has been there and done it all. An incredibly hard worker, who can party just as hard, if there is a dance floor nearby you’d hedge a bet that Alex Ludlow is either dancing on it or has played a role in getting it set up. This time around he sets the scene with his own aural flavours as he kicks the night into first gear. Rounding out the lineup, and seeing us off to bed at the end of the night, Marina Lović returns to the Terrace, trading out the warmer flavours of her last opening set with some serious heat to close out the night. As always, you bring your dancing shoes; and we’ll provide the rest. We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor xxx
