S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

Our last shin-dig at Stone & Wood Brewery was too much fun, so we’ve decided to run it back, and bring a fresh face with us! Laidlaw pulls out all the stops as he swings by the Brewery for a couple fresh ones, ready to pour some heavy hitting tunes down everyone's gullet x We welcome him with open arms, Laidlaw has been one of the names that’s graced our lips in recent times, an all time sound selecta & party starter. The English export has been around the block a few times, and with a growing catalogue of fine studio productions, we absolutely cannot wait to welcome him back to Oz. The Bee-You co-founder has a special place in not only our hearts, but many others. His journey through the underground scene abroad is nothing short of spectacular, so strap in for a serious session. Yellow horse disc jockey Kerry Wallace makes the trip up north to test some of S&W’s finest straight from the source. Toúshay gets ready to boogay in the brewery as she prepares some cave-ridden, deep groovers for the early afternoon, and Brock Ferrar makes the pilgrimage to Brissy to conduct an orchestrated masterclass on proper tunage to warm the space up. As always, you bring your dancing shoes, and we’ll provide the rest xx
