Coming in HOT off the back of their highly acclaimed Keys To The City party, Planet Trip and Club 77 are joining forces once again, this time for Places & Spaces - a massive party taking over Marrickville’s Factory Theatre on Saturday 11 April.
A special day-to-night dance spanning three indoor and outdoor stages, Places & Spaces brings together an eclectic mix of sounds, scenes and communities under one roof (and sky). Planet Trip and Club 77 have meticulously handpicked a killer lineup uniting some of Eora/Sydney’s most forward-thinking artists alongside a special international headliner.
Heading up The Inside Stage is none other than the Zurich-born and Berlin-based DJ AYA, set to bring her powerful bass-driven vibes and intuitive mixing style that has been energising dance floors from Europe to Tokyo. Joining Aya is an epic cast including Oomycota label founder, FBi Sunsets host and purveyor of all things squelchy and wobbly, Tangela, and pair of legends that require ZERO introduction - Kato b2b Au4r33y.
For those seeking a festive fix of Latin and cutting-edge global club sounds, The Club Room has you covered thanks to renowned party collective Altura, who have gathered some of Sydney’s finest DJs and groove starters including Celinita, Brina, Bebecito, Carolina Gasolina b2b Elizabeth De La Piedra and Fabz b2b Dan+ee
Last but by no means least, The Courtyard Stage will be firing on all cylinders with a stacked roster of selectors delivering deep grooves, house burners and late-night techno. Expect a slew of Eora’s finest in the form of Club Kooky founder Gemma, vinyl aficionado Milkpaste, one-half of the renowned Stereogamous duo Jonny Seymour, plus scene legend and Mardi Gras icon Annabelle Gaspar.
Need we say more? We needn’t. Come shake off the post-Easter blues with an epic celebration of music and community, done like only Inner-West Sydney can.
NOTE* for anyone that held onto their original tickets for Places & Spaces @ Factory Theatre, they will be valid for this event.
