Proponent Records, the Melbourne-based label championing emerging electronic artists, returns to Revolver Upstairs to celebrate the release of Love, Jess – A drifter's gospel'. Dedicated to pushing the next generation of talent, the label explores everything from deep melodic textures to rhythmic, hypnotic techno, fusing music, technology and visual expression into immersive experiences on and off the dancefloor. Love, Jess enters the Proponent Records catalogue with A Drifter's Gospel—a tribal, hypnotic and emotionally charged four-track EP. Opening with a deeply immersive spoken-word introduction, the release unfolds into three captivating club records that blend introspection, groove and movement. In the Back Bar, Mike Callander helms the weekly Revolver Fridays house and techno session from 10pm, before Sunshine leads Rise & Shine from 7am.
