Neil Roberts is a veteran house DJ, promoter, and charity event organiser with over 30 years experience. Originally from Cardiff, Wales, he is now based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Australia. He began DJing in 1995 after immersing himself in Cardiff’s underground club scene. He co-founded the award-winning pre-club event FunkyDory and launched Offitsface dot com (later Dancemuzik dot com), one of the UK’s biggest early dance music websites, which attracted millions of visitors. By the mid-2000s he was one of Wales’ top house DJs, with residencies at En Rouge and Funkathon, plus regular appearances at Escape, Godskitchen, Slinky, Ministry of Sound, and international gigs in Ibiza and across Europe. He placed in DJ Mag’s Top 150 in 2002 and played four years at Escape Into The Park festival. Neil plays a variety of styles to suit the time and location, from funky vocal house, nu-disco, house, progressive house, and 90s classics. He plays regularly at The Savvy Squire and organises the popular Seas The Beat Charity Boat Parties, Past Present Future and Journey events, supporting mental health and local charities.
