Hide Club has become a cornerstone of electronic nightlife in Christchurch. We've proudly facilitated the growth of our music community, hosting diverse events like open decks nights, university club nights, morning raves, and live shows, among many others. This dedication has helped build a vibrant arts community, uplifting local talent and creating countless opportunities for artists to flourish.
In recent years, we’ve also opened our doors for private event hires, offering a unique space for birthdays and other celebrations. We've seen a tremendous rise in local and national talent, nurturing a network of creators who contribute to the energy and soul of Hide Club every weekend.

About L-Side:
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, L-Side has become a key figure in the global Drum & Bass scene, known for his fusion of deep basslines with funk and soul influences. Starting his journey in hip-hop and rock, his passion for beat production led him to discover Drum & Bass, drawing inspiration from pioneers like Marcus Intalex and DJ Marky.
In 2011, his breakthrough came with "Horn Dance" on V Recordings, setting the stage for an acclaimed career. With releases on major labels like V Recordings, Chronic, and Hospital Records, L-Side has collaborated with heavyweights such as DRS, Total Science, MC GQ, and Jeru The Damaja. His 2018 debut album, "Carnal Mind," further cemented his status, featuring a lineup of influential artists and showcasing his distinct, high-energy sound.
With a signature style blending deep basslines, funk, and soul, L-Side quickly became a sought-after producer. His remixes and originals have consistently topped charts and become staples in DJ sets worldwide.
L-Side has graced iconic venues like Fabric and XOYO in London and played at premier festivals including Tomorrowland, Outlook, and Sun & Bass. His energetic sets and innovative productions have earned support from industry legends like Carl Cox, Fabio & Grooverider, and DJ Marky, solidifying his reputation as one of Drum & Bass’s most respected artists.
