S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years.
Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.”
The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend.
Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties.
Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

F.M.S. Pty Ltd is back in action, eyes wide open and ready to roll 24/7. We've realised it's time to sharpen our vision, so we've teamed up with UNISON to collectively head to Specsavers for some clarity. We’ve called-up our pals from Barcelona: SIGHT for a fresh perspective. The crew have all had mandatory eye exams, to ensure they're handy and have a keen eye for detail. With broken sinks in our midst, we can't afford any slip-ups, as a tiny slip could result in a visit from WHS, so it’s up to site supervisor: Andre Buljat, to navigate us through the ceramic catacombs together…

Andre Buljat has been around the world through music his entire life, with his house music journey starting in the Dominican Republic at the ripe old age of 15. Berlin & Detroit’s sound influenced Andre to move back to Germany at 18, with the intention of making a career in music. His productions started when he moved to Barcelona, which is where he resides now, curating SIGHT for the infamous Pacha. His sound has references to his wide upbringing, taking influence from any & everything musical, which has led him to produce luscious grooves for any setting.
When the team works together, you get the job done. So with our own Scoop, Muck & Dizzy, we're bound to fix all sinks. Our Newcastle companions, UNISON, have been diligently constructing up North, establishing their brand from the ground up. These groove machines have poured their hearts and souls into their craft. Armed with immense passion, they've called upon their dynamic duo, Curg & Splak!, to join in on the action with their tool belts at the ready, following Builder Buljat's safety-focused workplace demonstration. Slick, seasoned pro F.M.S representative: Thom’as, tackles the tough stuff, handling Job Site Preparation. He's readied the demo space, stocked up on coffee, and provided the crew with complimentary donuts, all before Andre steps in.
