Revolver Upstairs is one of Australia’s most respected nightclubs and the late night DJ spots showcase Melbourne’s best DJs as well as frequently hosting interstate Australian and international touring DJs.
After the daytime service, live bands, art shows and restaurant taper down on Fridays, the club kicks off and runs right through to midday on Saturday. A few short hours later the venue reopens at 5pm running right through until 9am on Monday. The resident DJ roster reads like a who’s who of influential Melbourne artists including such names as Ransom, Boogs, Mike Callander, Spacey Space, T-Rek, Sunshine and Lewis CanCut amongst many others past and present. The Sunday day parties are a unique clubbing experience and have garnered a loyal following.
The New Zealand-born DJ, Producer and MC has come a long way since arriving in Berlin with nothing but a dream and a backpack. From smashing warehouse raves, turning streams into fully-fledged dance-off’s or casually mashing- up renowned dance floors, Fuckoff’s relentless positive energy and refreshingly nonchalant style have earned her a serious hype and a loyal following.
Breaking through under the unlikely circumstances of full lockdown, her DJ debut had to be postponed, but Fuckoff wasted no time to blow the roof off parties. Dealing dancefloor damage around Berlin & neighbouring countries, she serves a fast-paced mixing style with unapologetic blends across various shades of the hardcore spectrum. On top of her energetic mixing, her standout live PA’s add an extra threat to her shows, regularly sending ravers into a craze.
While channeling a distinctively youthful energy, DJ Fuckoff’s roots go way back. Literally growing up at early Bush Doof’s organized by her parents, electronic music has been integral from the earliest of ages. After cutting her teeth as a producer and MC on throwback hip hop productions, her focus soon shifted to electronic music. While being thoroughly informed by previous generations of dance music, DJ Fuckoff's own take – as the name suggests – doesn’t fear eroding genres, standards and stereotypes.
