La Foxy Fuzz is a Sydney-based vinyl-only DJ, curator and cultural promoter with over 12 years behind the decks, known for creating dancefloors that celebrate rhythm, connection and community through music. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, her sound explores the B-side of Latin music, blending salsa, boogaloo, cumbia, Latin funk, Caribbean rhythms, soul, disco and rare global grooves through carefully curated vinyl selections. A true melómana and passionate record collector, La Foxy Fuzz has built a reputation for digging beyond the obvious, bringing warmth, storytelling and discovery into every set. Her approach is deeply rooted in vinyl culture and the belief that music has the power to bring people together across backgrounds, generations and communities. Over the years, she has performed at more than 200 events across Australia, from intimate community gatherings to major cultural festivals and venues including the Sydney Festival, City Recital Hall, Ace Hotel Sydney, Caterpillar Club and Carriageworks. Alongside DJing, she has become a respected promoter and curator within Sydney’s music scene through projects that champion multicultural sounds, independent artists and community-led experiences. She is the co-founder of Discoteca Tropical, one of Sydney’s leading Latin music collectives, known for sold-out events that celebrate the deeper and lesser-heard side of Latin music culture. She is also the founder of Her Spin on Things, a women-led vinyl community created to support, connect and empower multicultural women through music, learning and creative collaboration. What began as a small gathering has evolved into an important platform for emerging female selectors, DJs and creatives in Sydney. Beyond the dancefloor, La Foxy Fuzz continues to create spaces where music, culture and storytelling intersect through community events, artist interviews, workshops and collaborations. Her work is driven by a strong belief in representation, accessibility and the importance of preserving analog music culture in contemporary nightlife and arts spaces.
