New York based DJ PYTHON joins us for a 3 hr. debut Sydney set Saturday 30th August! DJ Python sound conjures the versatility of reggaetón’s signature bump by juxtaposing it with elements and atmospheres from trip-hop, rave, neurofunk and beyond. His recently released a critically acclaimed new record ‘I was put on this earth’ on XL Recordings centres vocals, including his own, and sees him collaborate with the likes of Jawnino, Organ Tapes, Physical Therapy and Isabella Lovestory. The latter appears on lead track ‘Besos Robados’, which first debuted in DJ Python’s Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 last year. Playing in Australia for the first time, we can’t wait to welcome him to Club Freda’s for a 3 hour sonic adventure. Supporting DJ Python will be local party queens DJ Crabby and Mina Tonic.
