AUM New Year's Festival is a music and arts camping festival which takes place each summer. With four themed stages AUM is a leader in cutting-edge sounds with showcases in psytrance, techno, drum and bass, bass music, house, live rock, dub, downbeat, retro and more. Since debuting in 2015, AUM Festival has grown into one of New Zealand's favourite independent festivals, loved by international travellers and lauded by artists who have performed there. Despite its size, it has kept the friendly, community spirit of its psytrance origins. The festival location heavenly, located in a forest where wild deer roam just an hour north of central Auckland.
New Zealand's best vibe new year's festival is back: 4 themed stages across 3 days and nights. Each stage offers different genres and over 200 music, performing and visual artists contributing.
This year's music lineup will have over 100 aritsts. Notable names include house/disco legend Late Nite Tuff Guy (Au), Dutch techno pioneer Sterac (aka Steve Rachmad) and Lady Starlight from NYC performing live. Psytrance artists Merkaba (Aus), Laughing Buddha (UK) and Guiseppe Parvati (DK). Plus Kiwi bass stars Paige Julia and The Nomad.
Kiwi disco don Frank Booker, German electronic taste-maker HOVR, Black Wax featuring local scene icons Greg Churchill and Andy Vann. DJs Aroha, Bevan Keys, Gat Decor (UK), Donna-Marie, Sharkra, SLAPS, Osey, MissB, Qveens (UK) and Rob Warner are all locked in. Plus many more.
AUM's 2026 lineup is a huge one for anyon who loves their techno (peak time, Detroit, dub techno etc) or psytrance. The Kānuka Stage also returns, the home of underground house and techno.
CAMPING as AUM is as good as it comes. We're located only an hour north of central Auckland and the land is a coastal, fast-drying, sand-base. Lots of food vendors are on site and we have art, fun workshops and wellness activities, and performances galore, for the times you're between dance floors.
TICKETS to AUM 2026 are exclusively via Flicket. Full festival and early entry passes are limited and have sold out the last few years.
