S.A.S.H was founded in May 2011, inspired by the Sunday party culture of Chapel Bar in London and created to fill the gap left in Sydney nightlife after the closure of Sounds on Sunday. What began as a niche Sunday afternoon gathering has grown into a weekly institution, helping define Sydney’s recovery-era nightlife for more than 15 years. Despite the theories around its name, S.A.S.H officially stands for nothing. It was inspired by the TV show MAS*H during the naming process, though fans have since created their own meanings, including “Sorry About Sundays, Honey” and “Sunday Afternoon Sunday House.” The brand became known for its Day & Night marathon format, moving from S.A.S.H by Day in The Greenwood Hotel’s open-air sandstone courtyard to S.A.S.H by Night at Home Nightclub on Darling Harbour. In late 2025, S.A.S.H entered a new chapter with S.A.S.H Saturdays at Carousel Bar & Ballroom on Oxford Street, bringing its community energy into the heart of the weekend. Musically, S.A.S.H is strictly dedicated to house, spanning deep, chuggy grooves through to minimal and tech-house, with a strong focus on sound quality and Funktion-One systems. Its culture is built around a no-phones dance floor, relaxed dress code and a loyal community known for going all-in on fancy dress, especially at the annual April birthday parties. Beyond Sydney, S.A.S.H has expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Wollongong, Bali, Ibiza and London, while S.A.S.H Records launched in 2020 as another extension of the brand.

We love a good stint in a boozy brewery, so there’s no doubt we’ve hauled up the truck and headed up to the Stone & Wood Brewery in Brisbane for our 15 Years of S.A.S.H celebrations! We’ve got the crème de la crème for this one as we’ve enlisted Janeret to keep things kickin’! Musical extraordinaire Janeret returns to the land down under for a match made in heaven for our 15 Year celebration. His silky style and dynamic grooves will turn Stone & Wood upside down as he takes control in the early hours of the evening. With releases on some of the industry's best such as; FUSE & Up The Stuss just to name a few, Janeret has dished out his signature sounds across the globe and for quite some time now. As our Frenchman fires away, he’ll be joined by some of the local scene's most dynamic selectors to round out the bill. Camhi heads down from the gorgeous Gold Coast for a session before the main man, a fine selector that’s been around the country is sure to set the stage. Ryskee adds to the bill for an afternoon slot, filled with luscious pads and groove ridden basslines, he’ll be sure to provide a tip-top afternoon soundtrack. With an impressive mix, Marco Christo takes out top honors of the mix competition to get things started for us in Brisbane, his carefully curated open will serve as the scaffolding for the builders, so get down early to see what he’s all about… And as always, you bring your dancing shoes, and we’ll provide the rest xx
