Headzy Bop is a collective and events brand born in Ireland, and now thriving on the Gold Coast. Spearheaded by DJ and curator Intka, the brand is all about stripped-back house, deep tech grooves and a dancefloor experience for people who take their music seriously, but not themselves. Headzy Bop champions quality selectors & producers, whether they’re emerging talent or well- respected names, and offers a refreshing alternative to the 'too-cool' minimal scene. The collective is rooted in fun, connection, and community, creating events where everyone feels welcome and the music moves you without ego or pretence. In early 2025, the team built the Boogie Buggy — a custom mobile stage that’s quickly gaining cult status in the Gold Coast underground. With a string of invite-only pop-up parties in unique, off-grid locations, Headzy Bop is building a loyal following who resonate with the combination of playful energy and serious grooves. Fresh off the back of another sold out show at home in Ireland, Headzy Bop is on a mission to bring underground music to more people — not by watering it down, but by dialling up the party.
